Virtual TourInformation about HamburgEvents

Hamburg Messe has a lot to offer its guests – state-of-the-art exhibition halls, a wide range of services, and a fantastic location at the heart of Hamburg. It has some 87,000 square metres of hall space and 10,000 square metres of outdoor exhibition space. It gives visitors, exhibitors and organisers excellent service in all areas, with an experienced and highly motivated trade fair team. Its infrastructure is well organised and linked with modern technical facilities and visionary architecture, designed for light and transparency – an ideal setting for successful events.

Hamburg Messe is well connected, with two mainline rail stations, three S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations and a number of motorway access points. It is only a few minutes’ walk from the Port, which is widely known as Hamburg’s “Gateway to the World”, and from the city centre with its excellent shopping facilities, the well-known Reeperbahn nightlife district, many hotels, and exciting trend districts.

From Hamburg Airport, 80 airlines fly directly to 115 national and international destinations. It is situated to the north of the city in Fuhlsbüttel. See the Hamburg Airport website for flight connections.

Hamburg Messe can be reached from here by S-Bahn (S1) and taxi. The journey time by car is about 20 minutes, by public transport about 25 minutes.

Dammtor mainline station is just a few steps away. It links the Hamburg Hamburg directly with the mainline rail network of Deutsche Bahn, including ICE high-speed trains, thus connecting it with the international rail system. It is only 8 minutes’ walk from Dammtor station to the East Entrance, and only 10 minutes from the Central Entrance. Alternatively, you can get to the Central or West Entrance from Dammtor by taking S-Bahn S11, S21 or S31 to Sternschanze (one station).

If you arrive at Hamburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), it is only one station from there to Dammtor station (for the East Entrance), by S-Bahn S21 (towards Elbgaustrasse). That is just two minutes on the train. From there you can have the same alternatives to get to the Fair. Travel fast, cheaply and environmentally friendly to us and enjoy your journey from the beginning.

The German Railway travel information doesn`t know only train schedules but also when rapid trains, underground lines and buses drive and how long one needs for the footpath of and up to the next stop. Plan your journey now.
