Georgia World Congress Center is Atlanta’s world-renowned convention center. A unique 200-acre campus that is designed to exceed your convention, trade show, sporting and special event needs for groups of all sizes. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, the Georgia World Congress Center features 3.9 million square feet with 1.4 million square feet of prime exhibit space, 12 exhibit halls, 106 meeting rooms and 2 grand ballrooms. Complemented by the Georgia Dome and Centennial Olympic Park, the three facilities comprise one of the finest convention, sports, and entertainment complexes in the world.


The Georgia World Congress Center is centrally located in the heart of downtown Atlanta. The convention center is easily accessible by car, train, bus or plane and is in walking distance to the 13,000 hotel rooms in Downtown Atlanta.

The GWCC is located in the convention corridor of downtown Atlanta, next to a multitude of restaurants and attractions. The center is easily accessible from both Interstate 20 and the Connector (Interstates 75/85). With Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the Georgia World Congress Center is accessible by 80 percent of the American population in two hours or less. The GWCC campus is served by two MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) stations.


Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport makes visiting very convenient. More than 80 percent of the U.S. population is within a two-hour flight of Atlanta and with frequent direct flights getting to the city couldn’t be easier. With its close proximity to Downtown Atlanta, you’ll be at the convention center or your hotel in no time.

  • The T.A.A.S.S. operation will cease all transport of passengers to the City of Atlanta’s Central Business District/Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead, effective 12:01a.m. midnight on 11/17/2014.
  • The Super Shuttle is now Hartsfield Airport’s Preferred Shuttle Service $16.50 from the Airport to the Omni Hotel drop off point.


Atlanta has more than 1,500 taxis available to take attendees to and from their hotel throughout Atlanta. With preset rates for trips to and from the airport and within Downtown and Midtown, taxis provide an economical mode of transportation. There is a $2.00 charge for each additional person.
